Anyone know what my gf3 gpu temp should be set at?
I have Winfast GF3 Ti200 128 ddr. Can anyone help me out with temp thresholds. Under normal play it's around 50 to 55 C. Every so often though I get an audible alarm telling me the temp is over threshold. I have the critical temp set at 58 C. Is this chip running hot or is this a normal temp for a gpu. Also anyone know what the actual critical temp is for this chip.
Thanks very much. DB |

No I don't have any problems with lock ups. I was just wondering if they tend to run hotter than cpu or not would hate to fry it. Thanks for the response. DB

I have the same exact card you have. As of now my chip edge is 42 degC and my chip surface is 47 degC. My crit is at 80 degC. I am not overclocking it and I was told that that is a stable measurment.

Personaly I love this card. Great graphics in all the games I play. It comes with 2 games, software for overclocking and a hardware monitor program. It's got the s video out and DV out. I returned a gf4 mx440 to get this card and was happy I did. The mx440 does not compare. I will say that if I ever get a new card again it will be a leadtek. Hope that helps. DB
