WONID Half-Life Problem
Ok, I had to reinstall Half-Life due to something screwy with the \executable thing. So I did, along with the mods that I use, Counter-Strike in particular. So, when I go to join a server, it says that it cannot obtain my WONID. Then it says that my CS version is out of date, but I am running v1.3. It searches for updates, finds nothing. I have entered the CD key correctly and have verified it in regedit. I am NOT asking for a CD key, simply a solution on how to fix the problem. Thanks guys

Did you uninstall HL or did you just reinstall over what was already there? Try to completely remove HL and the mods. Check this site for instructions how. Apparently there is an uninstallation bug with HL.

Problem fixed, it turned out I had a virus that was unrepairable, so I reformatted and it runs 10 times better than after last time I reformatted.
