hello i am wondering what could be causing this problem, I have an ATI all-in-wonder card in my current computer and i just put the newest drivers in but when ever i shut down or restart i have to reinstall them and it is a pain, anyone have an idea what is wrong please tell me.

Did you remove the old drivers first ?
In this forum and in the hardware forum type "installing new video drivers" in the search box and see what turns up. You're looking for Mike Breck's post on doing a clean install of video drivers. Sorry I can't give you a link to it, though someone may come along who can, but it should end your woes when you follow Mike's instructions.
