radeon 8500 driver/performance issue please help

Hello all. I need some advice on the best drivers for my Radeon 8500. I currently have a AMD 1 gig cpu w/ a A7V133 Socket A mobo,KT133A chipset with a Radeon 8500 64mb vid card with the drivers that came on the disk, the 4.13.7191 ones. and windows 98 SE, 512 megs of SDRAM, sound card. etc.. I downloaded the 4.13.9009 ones but when i double clicked on the executable it said " contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please verify the integrity of the file by attempting to download it again." I find that odd since I downloaded that driver file straight off of ATI's website. And yes, I have direct x 8.1, you need that for this file. I am getting issues in Aliens versus Predator 2. First of all, it looks really jagged. I have it on the default settings but still the game has lots of aliasing going on it. All the settings are on medium too. I get some minor slowdowns or slowdowns here and there. I am assuming this is cause by the current driver I have for my video card. Any ideas where to get the best driver for the Radeon 8500 video card? I also might add that I tried downloading ATI's 4.13.9009 drivers again and got the same error message...looked into winzip and it said a cab file was damaged. What does this all mean..that I can't use the latest certified drivers from ATI? Is it the driver I downloaded that's corrupt? Any help with this mess is greatly appreciated.

Hi PenCapChew7,
I just downloaded it, and it worked fine. I would guess that your Internet connection is having trouble with such a large file. The only thing I can suggest it contact a friend with a cable or dsl connection and a CDR who can put it on a disk for you...
