lview pro unspoorted SOF marker error
Hi. Is there any way to shrink high resolution .jpeg files to smaller pictures with Lview pro 1b verison 16 shareware ? I sometimes get "unsupported SOF marker type 0xc2" error and can't access .jpeg files that I took with my digital camera. I will look into the software provided by the digital camera but this is an old problem I want to address. Bill Gate only allows me to manipulate .bmp files which are quite large for internet posting. Any ideas without paying for a professional copy of lviewpro ?

Hi jchoy,
Have you tried Irfanview? There's a free download and its a really nice program that lets you resize/resample to whatever size you need. If you want to check it out CLICK HERE HTH

IrfanView
Thank you very much for your help. IrfanView seems like a good program although I am still experimenting with it. It is very easy to download and install. Can't imagine it is free. Let me know if I can return a favour. Good luck.
