drivers for xtasy 5332
good day eh
a friend of mine just bought a visiontek xtasy 5332 geforce2 mx200 video card and i threw it in his aptiva. the onboard video disabled fine, but he's having some problems with games like warlords battlecry and unreal tournament. usually there's stuttering and pauses where the mouse won't move. the video card is on irq 11 with irq holder for pci steering and the network card, but disabling the network card doesn't help at all, although turning the hardware acceleration in advanced properties down to basic acceleration clears it up. i've tried the release 25 version 2832 drivers and the detonator 3 version 15.70 drivers with the same results. if anybody has any suggestions on which drivers to use or another way to get better performance out of the card i'd be grateful. actually my friend would be grateful for the performance and i'd be thankful to not have to play around with his computer anymore. |

My Battlecry also used to stutter.
I use a ti200 GF3 128mg. Same drivers on a new MB fix the issue for me, I think i was running out of CPU cycles with the p3 450 ouch Aptiva |

Holy old post batman, I had given up hope on this one a long time ago.
We ended up starting from scratch on the HDD, seemed to clear a lot of his problems up. Now he's upset that Battlecry 2 isn't perfectly smooth. Anyway, thanks for the heads up fudtone. |
