I assume you have already downloaded the latest patches for both games.

Have you tried updating your drivers. Mainly your vid card's.

Is yours a brand PC or a built-by-yourself system?

Anything resembling model numbers on it anywhere? I found what seems to be a Canadian site building systems under the name MDG.

Have you been to the blizzard web site? If not check out the diablo 2 support page, also if you are using a trainer in diablo 2 it will cause the game to hang

66% resources free is awfully low, what is running to suck up that many resources? What are you doing in the game when it hangs. Did you get any documentation with this PC?

Try to answer all the questions, what else is running in the backgound? Press control-alt-delete at the same time and post the list that is in the box. Did you get any documentation with this PC? At what point does it lock in D2?

What I would do first is get rid of some of the stuff running in the background because 66% resources is very low. Go Start>Run then type in msconfig. Uncheck the unnecessary programs running. You can ask Gateway or whomever the manufacturer is what programs can be "shutoff". I don't know without seeing what you have running in the background.

I'm sorry I missed something. After you type in msconfig click the startup tab.

If you are shutting off everything on the list except volume and ATI then I think you are shutting off something you need. If you are shutting off Explorer and Systray nothing will work right.

If I missed it,pardon me.
What's the OS and how are your irqs set.
With all of the devices on the system,I bet video is sharing with something.
Also the referance to Rage Fury maxx(eng) and Rage Fury secondary is confusing, please explain.
