Hello. I have the offending graphics card and it has me baffled.
After installing the latest drivers the monitor screen goes black and the system hangs on boot up. I have installed the latest direct x and have tried the ati support site with no encouraging results. Has anyone else experienced this. I could really use some advice before I float test it

I had similar probs till I took the card out and wrote down all the numbers I could find on it. Then I went to the website and found this great list of every part number and card they ever made. You must drill thru all this to find the number that matches your card. Then dl the correct driver and you should be home.

Thanks for your excellent advice. I thought I`d cracked it at first but I keep getting a frozen screen when I use Internet Explorer. Has this happened to you? If so did you solve the problem?
