GTA3 for PC this week!

Grand theft Auto 3 comes out for PC this week. Why am I getting this instead of the PS2 version? 16 port Multi-Player mode!!!!! Oh, yes, now instead of bopping a hooker with a baseball bat, I can whack the guy sitting across the room! The game is hilarious, however very violent. Can't wait to hook up the LAN for this one...If only they would come out with 007 for PC.

Oops...I was really misinformed. It doesn't come out until 5/29!!! I guess I'll have to wait impatiently. Sorry about the bad info...

I can't wait either guys. It should look a lot better than the PS2 version. I just hope they get the control right (keyboard / mouselook). I hate it when a console port 'feels' like a console port.

I've been playing Grandia 2 PC lately. It looks a hell of a lot better than it did on either the Dreamcast or the PS2. Of course I have the option of 1024x768x32 and 4x antialaising Although I don't think the game would really 'work' without playing it on a gamepad.

I'm hoping my Geforce 2 Pro will be up to the task of running GTA3! At least till I can afford a Ti4200

Dan, those TI4200 cards look like a perfect balance of price / performance. And should be good to overclock. I'll probably have one the first month after they hit shelves
