I know i'm out dated, but all i have in my computer is pci slots. What would be the best video card to buy.
![]() I found a ati 7000 64mg for $149 canadian, but i'm not sure if it will be any better than the mx200 32mg that i tried. I wasn't impressed with that card. Last edited by Burnout; 04-10-2002 at 09:22 PM. |

The Radeon 7000 is a much better card than the gf2 mx200.

For the price, a gf2ti isnt too bad. The ATI cards seem to have better picture quality though. If you look around, you may find a good used deal, such as a gf3ti200 for $100.
I got it here on the for sale threads from Wolfie44. Just some thoughts |

Blakhart, he needs a pci card. The gf3s don't come in pci versions.

You can find PCI GeForce4 MX cards as well, better than both of those cards you listed.

I just bought a g-force 4 mx 420 64mg. Wow, what a differance. 65 to 75 fps at 1024 x 768. Thanks for your help all...
