smokin EA NHL 2001 won't run on XP
I'm trying to get NHL 2001 to run on Windows XP Home edition. I tried changing the compatibility mode to Windows 98, but it didn't change things at all. It hangs when it's scanning for the CD, which is indeed in the cdrom drive. The game was only $15 at Electronics Boutique, but it was fun, and I'm hoping to get it working on XP. Has anyone heard if EA put out a patch for this, or am I SOL?
