Is XP Pro a STABLE Gaming OS??

Just wondering if XP Pro is a good OS for gaming. If a game is "XP Compatible" then can I assume that it is also XP Pro Compatible??

Thanks in advance.

It works fairly well for gaming, some may argue not, but if you're not running DOS games, you shoud be fine. I ran XP Pro on a gaming rig for a few months, it worked with all my games (H-L, Q3, UT, Diablo2, etc....) Also, if it is XP compatible thats equal for Home and Pro.

steady teddy, if your a real hardcore gamer & that last bit of performance matters then keep an install of 98SE or ME on your system to play games. For some games XP works fine, others can be problematic or not work. Especially older games.

Compatibility Mode usually cures problems.

Has anyone run Nascar N2002 on the XP?

That's where I'm headed.
