Question

Hi all !!

I bought an ATI Xpert 2000 and wanted to update the driver.
The problem is, that with the newest drivers my system crashes on startup.
Windows starts, and just when the desktop has to come, the screen blacks out, and the compter hangs. Only RESET helps here.
The actual driver I have installed is 4.11.6114 from may '99.

My question is, why do the newer driver crash my system ?? Normally it should work, I think.

Hard to say, If I run the newest drivers on my ATI All-in-Wonder Pro 8Mb, it will crash the system when I win a game of Free Cell. Backing up one revision and everything works fine.
