I've seen what WickedGL can do for games now (WGL is new if you haven't heard yet). I just witnessed it doubling frame rate yesterday on an Athlon 700. It only works for 3dfx cards though. I'm wondering if there is anything like this for my Riva TNT 2? Or am I just SOL?

thanks!

I've not heard of anything for NVidia based cards..
I tried the Wicked GL drivers some time back (they aren't that new) for a set of Voodoo 2s and they gave me problems.. I ended up going back to the reference drivers from 3DFX.

Thanks for the info. I'll consider this. I'd still like to pick up a 3dfx based card to test out some stuff and maybe send in a few tidbits of info to you folks as my cousin, Floppyman, does. He just tested out my new T-Bird in fact (not my car, i do have a ford thunderbird too =D). Overclocked from 700 to 900 using Alpha cooler and ran it stable at 1.85 for a while i think. bah, he'll send you the info on that sometime. Thanks again!
