Hello:
Yeah I'm using DIMM not DDR so cost is a bit less but the ram i guess is a bit less effective? I found a deal from a friend on PC133 128mb ram of 20$ straight up from himself so I believe that I will take that off but this modem hmmm..... I'll have to get back to you on that. Do you think I would see an improvement with 128 or not? Thanks_a_lot Klutz

With windows XP? Yes it will make a difference. I think the minimum for XP should be 256.
I don't remember where I saw it but sdram and the XP processor did a better job than expected. Not super fast stuff you understand but still respectable. I'd go the "try before you buy" route with that ram. Some mainboards can be picky. |
