overkill
Just curious.
What is the performance difference between a 32MB GeForce2 MX200 (my card) and those GeForce4 Ti4600s in layman's terms? why do some people go to great lengths just to eek the last 2 fps out of their systems? ![]() Thanks!

To answer my own post:
http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic...charts-01.html to http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic...charts-05.html Therefore the Ti4600 is 3 to 5 times faster than my pitiful MX200!

Yes, it's quite a night and day difference.
Simply put, the 4600 puts any GeForce2 (even the Ultra) to shame. But you've got to have deep pockets to afford one right now.

I replaced my Voodoo 3 with an ati 7500, wasnt like night and day, but the picture quality was better, and there was a big speed difference....but I wasnt blown out of my seat or anything, but a 7500 isnt a geforce 4 either.....
