Well I know TNT2 M64 32MB is rather dated, but I just bought one. Haven't tried it out on games yet cause I don't have the time. tried using it to play VCD and it was quite jerky, not what I expected. I was wondering if 3dfx is better cause I got a friend who is thinking of upgrading his voodoo3 3000, thinking of buying.

Make certain you're using the very latest drivers. I hear the reference drivers are producing some good frames per second in Q3. I'm an NVidia man myself. I've used Voodoo 2s for about a year and a half and I'm more than happy with them but I'm more satisfied with the crisp looking graphics from my GeForce 256 (Elsa Erazor X).
