I've got an adapter that connects two joysticks to a single joystick port. I've use it for a Sidewinder and pinball paddles. We have a new Win98 machine (HP 900mhz) and sometimes it freezes up at the login stage. If I remove the game port, it will load fine. I've finally removed the adapter to see if that is the problem (will find out tonight). If so, is there something else I can try, or just forgo the adapter and swap as needed?
Thanks. Randy. |

You could buy another controller in the USB variety...

Actually, since I have a USB port up front, it would be a breeze to plug it in on the fly. I might look into that. But this time, I'll just get them as I want/need them.
thanks. randy. |
