Is your character stored ONLINE? Like if I format my hard, I don't have to back it up right?
Can I play my character at home and on my breaks at work without having to carry my character around with me? Can I have more then one Character? ------------------ byte@pcmech.com Computer Bash 2000 Join today. Alf Hunters of PCMECH how much AMD stock do you own today? Ok, I got the game...I have learn, the character is stored on the server so I can play it from different locations...
You can have about 8 different characters.... In order to play you have about 7 meg of downloads you have to get before you can do anything with it... In the near futuer I believe you will buy a pretty box with a blank CD and you will get a note asking you to wait for the 650 meg patch.... ------------------ byte@pcmech.com Computer Bash 2000 Join today. lol, yep. EQ was an improvement over Ultima Online I suppose, but not much of one. They've released a ton of patches to basically "sweep the obvious game exploit dust under the rug". These MMORPG's are still in their infancy. My brother plays Asheron's Call now, and seems to like it much better than EQ. Says it has alot more depth and realism to it.
Until our puny internet networks can support 10,000 people on one server and my puny home computer has the speed and memory to render that, I'm still gonna be a FPS player I'm afraid. Xayd |
