Question

I'm looking for a copy of this version. Anyone have one archived somewhere or know a site on the web where I can download it?

Have fun finding it TireT. I don't think that much people have it archived.

Dude, you are in luck, I have it. It is on a very old (2 years) demo CD-ROM from a gaming mag. Looks like it is about 5 meg. If you want, I can try to email it to you. If that doesn't work, I can mail the CD-ROM. Contact me from my Maximum3D address, scott@pcmech.com

Out of curiosity TireT, why would you need DX5 when there is 7.0A and 8 soon ?

My joystick for flight sims is a Thrustmaster Top Gun (Non USB) and when I used DXBuster the other day I guess I deleted the drivers for it. DX contains DirectInput files that contain drivers on certain add-on devices. I went to the website and it suggested installing DX 5. I installed DX 7a and it added the Top Gun USB but not the regular one with a game port plug.... so I'm gonna try installing DX 5 and see if it adds it to my list of devices so that I may install it again and play my flight sims....
