Radeon 8500 Drivers

I have been playing with my Radeon 8500 for about a week now. I am not sure that I am using the right driver though? Using one off Disc that came with card. Card is a Power Color 8500 275/275.
Have downloaded but not yet tried 1. Driver from manufacturers website for Win98(My operating system) for this specific card.
2. Driver from ATI website for ATI Powered (ref. 768-02013-3013c)
3. Driver for ATI built (4.13.01.9031)
According to Sandra I am using 4.13.01.9009 reference drivers.

Are any of these the driver I should use or is there another one and where?

Reasons for questions are two. 1. In 3DMark 2000 the card I replaced used in my backup computer is faster than the Radeon by a large margin. Backup computer uses BX chipset, 800e p3 processor and 128mb RAM. Main computer uses 815EB chipset, Celeron 1.1 gig processor and 256 MB RAM.
2. I downloaded Radeon Tweeker and according to it (???) clock speed is 140. Haven't changed it but shoudn't it read 275??
