Dedicated Counter-Strike Server Up!
I've brought back up the CS server. Feel free to check in and frag a little... If anyone's interested in setting up a time for us all to meet up, please do so. The IP and port is:
IP 68.1.130.146:27015 If you can't connect directly using that IP, it means that either the server's down, or my IP has changed. I don't have a static IP, although it rarely changes. If you have to, just search for a server called PC Mechanic Dedicated CS 1.5 Server. Happy fragging!

Yeah! That's the 1st time I went through 5 rounds in a row without getting killed.... Of course, I was the only one on.
 But now we can practice together and come up with PCMech strategies and take over the CounterStrike universe!!

I got on it three time this weekend and ran around for a while. It's fast as heck with nobody else on. My ping was 109-112. Sounds like we should plan a game time.

the one time I got on it was only me and the lag was bad. i think it crashed soon after. either that or my connection failed. It was really late at night(ie. early in the morning.)

On it right now, alone.... Lag seems fine, I'm getting around 55 (DSL) I'd love to get a regular scheduled PCM game going...

I'm up for MOHAA any time someone wants to set a server up. I'm on DSL, and will do it if someone lets me know how. I know DSL won't support a lot, but it would be worth a go if anyone is up for it.

The server was acting flaky, so I did a clean Win98 install and a clean install of HL and CS and updated them and now it appears to be running flawlessly.
Please try it out and let me know if there are any apparent problems! Thanks! |
