I have found the s3 driver on the s3 {www.s3.com}.but i don't know how to install it.where is the install icon on the winzip files!I have the files unzipped in a folder,but i don't know how to install it.. into my driver. izit just need to copy and paste into the window folder? or is there other ways?? plz help ~~ =)

Bring up the device manager, using the Windows Key and Pause/Break key at the same time or go into the system via the control panel.
In the device manager, double click on the S3 card to bring up the properties. Click on the Driver tab and click on the update driver button. When the driver install box comes up, select specify a location and click on browse. Then go to where you have unzipped the driver file you downloaded. Click OK and Click OK. |

Do I need to uninstall the old S3 driver in my computer first before installing the new driver....Does it request for my S3 old driver CD when I in the middle of installing my new driver?

If you are updating the OS will just replace the old driver.

I would recommend uninstalling old video drivers before installing new ones. Could save you a lot of grief in the future.
