Video color prob

My prob is the screen is dark, seems like everything is a shade of gray and makes the game unplayable. It happened only on my most recent games Global Operations and Grand Theft Auto 3, but the older games like Star Wars Jedi Outcast and Medal of Honor work fine. There doesn't seem to be a huge gap in technology between these, so I don't think it's my vid card, but maybe a setting? Framerate is ok since I can drive a car in GTA3 smoothly, just the color is in shades of gray and hard to see. I use a Gainward Geforce 2 Pro, and play usually in 1024 resolution at 32-bits.

Anyone else have this prob?

Do you have DirectX 8.1? Updated video drivers?
Also try enabling Fog Table Emulation in Display Properties.
Have you tried adjusting the game video options.
Try running @ 800x600x16 bit High Colour and see if that helps.
Check and see if there are any patches at Take Two.

thanks, that change to the fog table emulation did the trick. I can run in 1024x resolution now.
