Running Win95 Games on 98 SE

How can i run a game that requires windows 95 on a windows 98 machine...namely quake 2..I know its old but i like it and it wont go on my upgraded comp. any ideas anyone?

You should be able to load it normally and play without any problems.

Well it saysd it cant install onto the different operating system. So anyone know why?..got any ideas?

do you have some sort of weird version or soemthing? i ran quake 2 on 98SE without a problem. or maybe i had a weird version...

I can guarantee mine will be the wierd version if any...its an old quake 2..i dunno if the later copies were modified..i got it vertually the day it came out... but no joy running it...could there be some files i need somewhere?...anyone got any ideas how to sort it rather than telling me my versions wierd...which i can aussure you is how my life runs most of the time..Cheers anyway hal and homer.

That's really wierd because I have Quake, Quake II, and Quake III and have run them on Win98, 98SE, WinME. I currently run Quake III on XP and haven't tried the earlier version.

i cant find a version one..it just says quake 2 connot run on this language of OS system. Please find a copy of quake 2 that will run on this language OS
