I play Hasbro Scrabble version 1 online. The CD works fine but I have already worn out a DVD drive. I replaced it with a 52x CD drive.

I tested the Virtual CD software for 2 weeks. It worked GREAT.

I purchased the software a month after the demo expired. Of course now the installation to hd "H" goes smoothly but when the game begins the board is distorted and the game crashes after one turn/play.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried to simply uninstall and reinstall the game? I know it sounds like a cop-out answer, but it seems to work sometimes. Also, try installing it in a new directory, rather than the default. My mom plays this on a P133 with 64Mb EDO, so yours should be fine.
