MOHAA or MOHF

I was just about to step out and purchase Medal Of Honor Allied Assault when I saw a commercial for Medal Of Honor Frontline. Is this a totally new game or a continuation of the first one?

I am a big RTCW fan. How do the two compare?

well first of all... do you have a ps2?? Medal Of Honor Allied Assault is out for pc, and Frontline in out for the ps2 platform. From what I've heard it's a different game. Alllied Assault you start out in North Africa doing operations, working yourr way to d-day and then so on. Fronline you are plopped straight into the action on d-day frist mission. So frontline I THINIK has more to do with the times after the allied invasion. I'm going to pick it up this weekend, I'll probably post on it....

Thanks. I don't have PS2 so I'll get MOHAA.

RTCW=Return To Castle Wolfenstein.

MOHF looks alot like RTCW multiplayer "beach" on the commercial. They are both driven by the Quake3 engine.

Medal Of Honor Frontline is for the PC too, I remember on the commercial the logos at the bottom and it said "PC". Also, it's the continuation of MOHAA, after the invasion like whr2206 said.

MOHF is only for PS2 and no version exists for PC. There will be an expansion pack for MOHAA later on in the year.

Hmm, my mistake then. But I'm sure I saw the PS2 and PC logo on the commercial.

I have Medal of Honor Frontline, but it seems they put more time into it than allied assault. The beach is more detailed, the soldiers do more things, I even caught a few with their guns laying down or on a smoke break. The D-DAy mission lasts longer.... it just seems like they put more time into Frontline. BUT the controls for it is hard to get used to since you are playing with a controller instead of teh keybaord mosue setup..... worth buying though
