Delta Force Landwarrior

I hope I am posting this in the right forum, if not, I apoligize.

I was wondering if someone can help me. I have been playing Delta Force landwarrior for a few years and recently had to take it off my computer because of a virus. So, I tried to reinstall it today and everything goes ine until I try to update the game. It starts to connect to wherever it connects to update and then a window pops up with the following message: WS_ERR: The socket is marked as nonblocking and the recieve operation would block. So I can't update the game, hence not able to play the game.

I'd appreciate any input, thanks.

I am using windows 2000. I was using windows ME before, though. Would that make a difference? That is the only change.

The OS change could make a difference. Is the game Win95/MS-DOS, pure DOS?

Have you downloaded the compatiability updates from windows update?

Try actually going to the companies web site and downloading the patches yourself, rather than doing the auto-update.

-Orc, I'm talking about the "Windows 2000 Application Compatiability Update" which has helped allow me to run a lot of Win95 games under Win2K.

Logan, I wasn't referring to your comment, but instead the original posters. Meaning go to the land warrior site for the game updaes, not the windows ones, as you suggested (a good suggestion at that)

no more sapourt

I don't think that NovaLogic still post updates for Land warrior semming how Black Hawk done is out. Wich is a lot better game if your system can handle it. Good luck.
