My visiontek gf3ti200 is nice, and vtek has lifetime warranty.
There are a slew of others out there just as nice or better.
I would shoot for a gf4 or wait till the new cards come out in a few months.

I'd get a 4200 if I were you.

Visiontek/Leadtek/Gainward/PNY/MSI GeForce4 Ti4200/4400 or GeForce3 Ti200, depending on budget.

I got a GeForce 4 4400, what i will say is if u going for a geforce 4 it really depends on what resolution you play your games at. if you play at 1024x786 or less then the 4400 will be enough for you. unledd you want play at higher res when it will be decided by your budget. what is ur budget?

Well, a GF3 Ti500 I think will preform better than a GF4 MX, so I'd do go for a GF3 Ti 500 or any GF4 Ti(specifically the Ti 4200).

Wait a month or so for the Matrox Parhelia to come out to see if it lives up to the expectations. If it does, it will be one sweet card =)

If you don't wanna spend that much money though, check out the Gainward GF4 Ti 4200 128 meg golden sample. It's $199 at newegg.

Had an ati 7500 64ddr then bought a vistiontek gf4 4200 and what a difference. nvidia puts ati to shame. Like the lifetime warranty (is there a catch to that?)

Yeah the catch is if your box has had the bar code peeled off. They then send the bar code police.
Heh gotcha Wolfster!

Mine is a MSI GF4 Ti 4400 that I got for about $230. VERY nice. Haven't had a single problem yet. I have an ATI in my older machine that has been nothing but trouble since day 1. Updated drviers from ATI (IMO) cause more problems than they fix.

I dunno, my ATI Radeon 8500 works flawlessly under XP, with great performace.

Duckman, go for the ti 4200. The difference between the 4200 and 4400 isn't enough to warrant the $90 more. Plus it has TV out, and the 4400 and 4600 doesn't

edit: just noticed the other two have video in AND video out? HMMMMM, in that case I might consider the 4400.
