Red face The best AGP card

Hi, I have an N-Vidia TNT2 Model 64 pro but the spider-man game doesn't run it all with this video card; I'm planning to buy another one like a GE-Force MX-400.

I want a cheap video card but with a great performance, can anyone suggest a good one?

You can't go wrong with the GF3 Ti200. The GF2 are quite outdated by now.

And I'd advise against MX series, they are plain crap if you're a gamer.

A GeForce3 Ti200 or an ATI Radeon 7500 are both good budget cards.

Get the Radeon 8500 LE 64MB (it's clocked at 250/275, almost as high as a non LE, and higher than a non LE OEM) for $98 at newegg.com. DON'T get the $99 8500 LE, that one is clocked at 230/230 and has poor ram.

I really like ATI, but all their video cards are some expensive to me. I have less than $80 to buy a new card.

Maybe I better wait to save more money and buy the correct card. Don't want to buy one now and have to change it again in 6 months.

Thanks for your suggestions.

For being on a budget, go to newegg.com and get the ATI OEM RADEON 7500 64MB DDR AGP for $68 with free shipping (powered by ATI and produced by Sapphire Technology Ltd.) is quite a good card with good gaming performance. Sapphire builds a quality card and keeps drivers current.,

http://www.sapphiretech.com/ (Notice they have a very well done website with lots of info, unlike many of the NVidia based OEM Makers)

Yes, this is a good option for me, I think I'll buy it.
Thanks Morriswindgate
