Graphically intense games suddenly running slow?!?!
hey guys
here's what happened: Morrowind and Ghost Recon are both loading and running EXtremely slowly, and it wasn't like this before. Also, in Morrowind, i see magenta screen flickers when it says saving or loading. this is what had happened before: 1) i installed the DirectX 8.1 SDK 2)The power went out i don't think those are related, but is there anything any one could do?? |

My guess is the 8.1, I would get rid of it. Also if you had a outage and you are running a IBM GXP drive, you may have a messed up drive.
