EQ through a proxy
I am using Analog X's Proxy v4.12. When I try to play Ever Quest on the comp that uses the proxy to get on the net I get an "Error 1001: Could not connect to the EverQuest server. Please try again shortly" message, or something like that. When I try to play on the comp with a direct connection I can get right on. Does anyone know how to fix this. Preferably just a easy as the proxy.

What does this have to do with hardware? Moving it to Gaming.

EQ requires several ports to be open. Is your proxy software or is another machine you are physically routed through?

if you know what ports it needs, then download AnalogX's port mapper and redirect the ports. Thats how I played CS for about a year.
