450 Error when trying to play Americas Army
My frien just downloaded the new army game but get this error when trying to play it:

And another thing! My friend gets this error when trying to install new drivers for his video card:
setup was unable to locate a detected device's PCI ID in NVAML.INF |

I'm not quite sure, but I don't think you can play with those specs.

Well I just saw that the game doesn't support TNT or Voodoo vid cards and he said his vid card has a TNT chipset. I also told him that he needed a way better system to run it.

Thousands of people are getting the same exact error, I being one of them. The software developers screwed something up and they don't seem very determined to come out with a fix for this, seeing as the game is free and a government army recruitment tool. Try something with more reliable people behind it such as Ghost Recon or Operation Flashpoint until they come out with a fix. Also, it may just be me but I get kinda nervous installing software from the government, especially involving the military. Why would they making it free? Monitoring programs/spyware perhaps?

These are valid assertions, but with all the knowledgeable enthusiasts, one can surmise the detection and elimination of said shpyware. Now the IBF/AIC on the other hand......

I had such an error message, upgraded to DirectX 8.1. I'm halfway thru bootcamp even with my below mentioned puny specs.
