Tex,
I down loaded the game, but now how do I get registered to play on the servers? I went through the restration where you put in a user name and password. How do I get it going?

Deck99,
If you have registered a screename and password, you're fine for online play. If you go into the game and hit "Step 4: Find Online Games with Gamespy Arcade", it will refer you to the Gamespy arcade website. Download that to play online.

Once youve set up Gamespy click on "Americas Army" and it will show the servers.

Tex,
I did that but it doesn't let me play. Do I need to first go thru an offline and online training? Can you play the game offline on your own computer once you've downloaded it? Where does a guy get the instuctions on what to do?

You need to complete the Basic training first. You cannot play the game on your compuer, this version of the game only allows for the missions to be played online. I believe they will release another single-player version later in the year.

Did you download and set up Gamespy? if so, what is the problem your having exactly?

The game manual is in the "breifings" folder in the games Program file. That should help you out too.

Tex,
I am a member of Game Spy. I play quake II on that site. So your saying you take basic training online? Do I open the game and hit basic training and it takes me to a server or do I go to game spy and find the basic training?

what does your computer say when it "doesn't let you play". They probably haven't ironed out all there server problems so pick servers that are mostly full. have you done the offline training? it's an obstacle course, random weapon shooting, some target training, etc? when the menu comes up pick report for duty, and do the four steps. You should have like 4 or 5 training things, register online, then be able to pick Fort McKenna rooms on gamespy.

Tex,
Is the basic training done without being connected to the internet? Or do you have to be online to do the basic training? That's probably me problem.....I haven't done any basic training.
