Need to underclock my PC (so to speak)
I installed Battle Chess, a game from the days of Win 3.1. Problem is my machine is too fast for it. The animations play so fast I can't enjoy them. Is there a way to make this game run the way it was intended to?
TIA

What version of Windows are you running. You might be able to play that game in full DOS mod. What system are you running?

Windows 98FE. The game was designed for Windows 3.1. It also comes with a DOS version, but it's different though the concept is the same.
Athlon XP 1700+, 256 2100 DDR RAM, GF3 Ti200, 60 Gig Maxtor HD. |

It would probably be easier to get a second hand piece of junk to play that game on than messing with your system I think.

Hey Streams, I installed the game in XP and the animations play normal, but the sounds aren't synchronized with them. Do the animations play perfectly in your machine?

Yes, the animations play perfectly. But, Im using win2k so perhaps the problem lies with winXP.
