Good video card for Warcraft III

I've been playing warcraft III with a duron 950mhz and a gf2 mx200. I have to play it on a really low resolution and it is still choppy in battles. I don't really want a new video card for anything other than this. Anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to be able to play it at the highest resolution and have it not be choppy at all. But I'd also like to keep the budget low. I'm looking at the Radeon 8500LE with 64mb for $91 and the chaintech geforce3 ti200 for $105 for the 64mb version and $125 for the 128mb version. Any input would be greatly appreciated as always.

MSI GeForce3 ti500.
Too bad you're on a low budget, or I would suggest a new cpu, as well.

(edit)
I have heard the GeForce4 ti 4200's are about as cheap as the GeForce3 ti500, but you really need a better system to reap the extra speed available from them.

Yeah, I concur with the ti500, I just finished all the campaigns and that's what I use. Tis sweat, the ending credits were the best I've ever seen off of any game.

I really should buy that game.

every one says it's the best RTS available. Any opinions?

I had to trade in my Radeon 7500 LE w/ 32mb for the same reason. I went to a Xtasy GeForce Ti 4200 128mb DDR. I must say that I am very pleased with the results.
The Radeon would play fine at medium settings, but after about an hour of playing it would lock up the computer. New GPU and all is well in Tunatown.

is the gf3 ti500 really that much better than the ti200? I really like the price on the chaintech ti200 w/ 128mb ($125).

dilly: I think it is definitely the best rts game available, very fun.

You can get a Ti200 and overclock it to make it as fast as the Ti500. Besides, not much games today really support all the card's features.
