Out of those 3 choices go with the Radeon. It uses 64megs of ddr ram while the Geforce cards use SDRAM. You'll see better performance on a ddr card then a sdram card. The memory is running twice as fast.

Most everyone around here advises to stay away from the MX's, so out of the three listed probably the ATI will work best. A GF3TI is what I would go with!

They dont make the Geforce 3s in PCI form. Go with that Radeon you listed. It will be a fine card.
Heres a link to it, looks like a god price. The second one on the list. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...ry=1126&DEPA=1 |

You could get the Geforce 4 that you mentioned. It will perform excellently. It has S-Video out. Heres a link: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...log=289&DEPA=1 Its the seventh one down.
Im not sure about linking the cables though. HTH

Leviton makes a connector for Cat 5 wire to make your own home video system it allows you to run cat5 to outlets then use s-video patch cables to the componets.
Part # 40734-sv you can run video all over the house if you want , they also have the amplifies for it too. |

I think this is more of what your looking for CompSux. This site sells both connectors to extend the reach of your SVideo cables and longer Svideo cables.
Connector: http://www.s-video.com/svideocoupler.html 20 foot Svideo cable: http://www.s-video.com/mogami20.html HTH

Yeah, do what Alaron suggested. I have a 20 footer coupled with a 12 footer for 32 total feet. Works just fine to send my S-Video signal from my PC to my TV in the other room.
