nVidia Refresh Rate Fix problem

I have win2000 and a geforce2. As you may or may not know, the max refresh rate is limited to 60hz. However, they came out with the nVidia Refresh Rate Fix. After installing it, no matter what rate I set my monitor to (and no matter what resolution it's at), I get a slight flickering in the monitor while on the desktop, browsing, or anything that isn't a full screen game. It's really annoying and it makes my eye twitch.

If worst comes to worst, I can always uninstall it but I'd like to be able to keep it.

Can anyone help me?

the refresh rate fix that comes with RivaTuner has always worked perfectly for me. Maybe try that utility, it is complete ownage anyway, for a GeForce card.

Do you know where I can download it from, or perhaps you'd be so kind as to send it to me?

The only one that ever worked for me is called NVRefreshTool.
A search engine should get it for you.

Klumpdud:
go here http://www.guru3d.com/

on the left is a menu and it has an entry just for RivaTuner. They always have the latest version.

That thing will open up the possibilities of your GeForce card.
Hope it helps

One thing is to not push the card too far, 85 is fine for ref, and the res has an effect on the card as well. Hi res can be a hard thing for a card to deal with along with a hi ref.
