Hi,

yes. GeForce 2 GTS is the successor of the successor of the successor of the TNT. It will give you a noticeable performance boost when it comes to 3d games and such.

hey that's cool, I didn't know you could still get a GTS.

I have a GeForce2 GTS32(OEM) and I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions?

I tried to sell it but no one responds (I was asking $30+ship) even thought it's like new. If I wanted to put it in another system, by the time I got all the parts, it would be too old for my needs.

Hmmm...

zzbudzz, I have the same card in my build. Even though its only a Geforce2, I love it. I play games like Half-Life and Jedi Knights 2 without any framerate problems. To be honest, I can barely see the difference compared to my friends GF4 4400. Its a great card, especially for the price.

DilLy, you could go on Ebay with that card. You can almost always get more then what its really worth.

When you are going from a nVidia card to another nVidia card there won't be many problems. You might not even have to uninstall the previous drivers, and remove it from the hardware manager, but you might want to do it anyways.

nVidia's UDA (unified driver architecture) ensures that updating / switching drivers will be easy. After you uninstall the drivers, or after you don't, take the old card out, and put the new card in, while it's off. Turn it on, and run the newest nVidia driver installer available, with all anti-virus software turned OFF. Then restart the machine, and enjoy.

i got a question about removing the old card,i noticed my moniter plugs in the back of the case well above my agp slot.i can't see where the card is cause i have to remove my cooling fan to see it.is the card (nvidia tnt) part of the mother board ?can i just pop in the new card and install the drivers .then remove the old hardware and drivers from the control screen? i'll have to take alot suff off and out just to get to the old card?i attached a pic of the computer if this helps....

Sounds like you have onboard video. Check the manual for your motherboard. Sometimes you have to go into BIOS to disable the onboard, sometimes it disables itself when you plug in the AGP card. You have to check your manual to see which one you have.

What OS are you running?

You SHOULD be able just to snap it in and go. Remove the old drivers once you get to the desktop.
