PC Media Gamer's Clan
Cobra came up with a great idea the other day and asked me to make an announcement so here it is...
On behalf of Cobra and myself, I'm proud to announce that a new clan has formed for online gaming! The PcM Clan! Those interested in participating in the PC Media "exclusive" gamer's club need only add the letters "PcM" surrounded by these < > brackets to the front of their nickname in their favorite video games. Correct Prader... I don't know why but for some reason brackets and this board's script don't get along.

I'm up for it, been looking for a new clan anyway. BTW what game we playing? heh,heh, helps for practicing the correct 1. Is it a UT clan, or a Q3 clan, or something else?

Let's go with Q3. And maybe next time we can do a little Counter Strike? There's a new version out! Counter Strike ver 7.1 beta and it's sweet!
For those who have no idea what Counter Strike is... it's a free mod for Half Life, and it's awesome! |

I would like to join in, but I don't really play QIII, and no, I have not been under a rock for the past year. I only have the demo, is that enough to play online? Can I use new maps, RA3, and such?
CS on the other hand is my main squeeze. I have been playing since somewhere around the Beta5 release. I am down for a game or two anytime. I also play UT now and then, so just say the word. I have been playing a UT CS-like mod called Tactical Ops. It's in an early stage, but it looks promising. I am a full-time student located in Colorado so anytime in the evenings before 11 PM Moutain Time should work. |

Sorry, but I am going home today and I don't have any way to play CS at home. Have fun without me and I hope I can get in on the next one. Just so you know, I will be back Sunday evening in case there's a chance to play again this weekend.

Counter Strike today!
Counter Strike today starting at around 11:30 AM Eastern Standard Time. If I'm not responding, kill me a few times. I'll hear the ruckus and come and play.

I wish I wouldn't have slept in so late or else I could have joined a few rounds of your CS game, Tiretool. Maybe next time we should try to plan things the day before if the game is going to be before noon.
