Matrix and Warcraft
Buddy of mine just bought a VPR Matrix (180r) from Best Lie. Tried to install Warcraft III and it would install but when it would start intro it would go back to desktop and give a large what looks like a memory error. Tried to search the error on the net and Microsofts knowledge base with no luck. Only patch available has nothing to do with error, but tried it anyway with no luck. He brought it back and tried another one out of the box with same results. Any ideas.
PS Matrix towers were designed by porsche engineers

Hi raiderfan,
Try installing the latest Detonator drivers from nVidia.com, they work with all GeForce cards. Just checked the specs on the machine, what a waste pairing a P4 1.8GHz and 512MB DDR with a puny GeForce2 w/SDRAM.

I know, when these first came out it was a big deal, now they are slapping in geforce 2s. They also put the usb and firewire ports on the side rather than the front - those wild engineers. Tried detonator drivers on it with no change. Also did all the windows update.

What is the exact error that it gives you?

Wrote down the error but my buddy has it. It said something like can not execute 00X0000 or something like that. I searched that error for about a half a day without any luck.
