Finally I'm financially able to put the new system together! I decided upon an ABIT BE6-2 for my motherboard. I ordered a Celeron 2 600, ABIT slotket, and a Golden Orb fan. My wife picked up a Sound Blaster Live X Gamer today at Office Depot for $79 bucks. She's about to get me an Elsa Gladiac I think but I'm not for sure. I'm about to order a Plextor 8X 4X 36X CD-RW. The Maxtor 7200 RPM 40 Gig hard drive will hold all the stuff I can possibly find to put on a hard drive, and it's Ultra ATA 100 capable!
I'm not positive whether I'll order a case or buy one locally. A guy at a local shop insists that he'll have me a cosmetically nice looking case with a 300W power supply Monday... we'll see. I'm just so damn happy I could pee myself!!! I've been waiting for this for some time. Will keep you all posted! Wish me luck!!!

I got a friend's box in the mail the other day, actually a pretty nice rig, which had some minor driver problems. He won't be by to pick it up for another couple weeks, so I got the UT server if you got the time Tiretool.
Be happy to frag ya stupid to "test out" the new digs...  Xayd |

If it's just the four of us, I can host. Got 1.5mbps ADSL. Unfortunately I'm on PPPoE, so won't know the IP until we nail down a time. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off this week, so either day is good. You could take Thursday for assembly and OC (preparation for the oncoming slaughter
), then we could do it up on Friday, sound good?Xayd |

One qestion ??? How did you get the other half to go and
purchase computer gear!!! It was all I could do to get mine to pick me up HomeWorld let alone some hardware. Your new Machine sounds GREAT Have FUNNNNN!!!!!! |

I guess I just know how to pick em! She's crazy about me and I'd do anything for her... I just try to treat her right and she definitely treats me right. We just meet in the middle. Any time we go to the mall we walk into Electronics Boutique and I have to be careful what I pick up and look at or in a week it will be waiting for me at home after work!!! |
