FS2002 prof. edition. > manual included???
Hi
I just bought Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 Profesional Edition and I noticed there was no manual in the package, no books what so ever. Is there no physical manual and paperwork included???? I can remember from the 2000 version that there was a pretty fat manual included. Please help me out, I need to know if I have to replace it. Thanks, PiC |

Look in the folder or the Programs Menu. Their manual is in .PDF format. You can view it electronically, or print it out.(get a ream of paper!)

I'll stick to MS FS, better add-on options. And I think MS is the best in building personal flighsims.

Pilot,
How do you like FS2002 compared to FS2K? I've been thinking of buying the 02 pro edition... But I have to justify the cost!

It's a pretty good FS. Make sure you have a nice system with at least a Geforce 3 or equivalent.

See my specs on top, it'll work.
![]() I went back to the store and got my (little) documentation. I'll have to print the rest. A bit of a negative note I think, that there is no significant physical documentation in this version. I liked the documentation of FS 2000, via this manual I learned how to fly. It's really a great manual, I think. AzCoastie: Yesterday I started FS2002 pro for the firt time and whow what a difference it is compared to FS2000 pro. The lay-out is improved I think, the auto-gen feature is great (much buildings and stuff) and off-course you're able to land on water now. Ow yeah, and I really love the ATC feature, though you have to be patient when following ATC instructions, it got me stuck for 10 minutes holding sshort for the runway at Chicago's O'Hare. I think add-on developers will do great stuff with this ATC feature. However you will need a good system to run it. Off-course you can run it at it's minimum but in that case I think you can better stick to the old FS2000 pro. It's up to you now, if your system is up to date then buy it, it really got my in my chair yesterday for 6 hours. Check the site: www.microsoft.com/games/fs2002 Happy landings, PiC Last edited by PilotinCommand; 08-13-2002 at 09:31 AM. |
