Yes, that's a decent card and should work well for you. Some people recommned dropping to a 4200 or 4400 to save some cash.

Well i heard that the Ti4400 series will be discountinued soon and so will support for it.

So i figured id go for the Ti4600 series

I agree, it's a good card and PNY is one of the better brands. I would also second the 4200, which you can overclock to 4400 speeds.

nVidia hasn't dropped support for any of its cards in years. All of their drivers are UDA (Unified Driver Architecture). That means that any update for a Ti 4600 will also be an update for the Ti 4400 and Ti 4200. As long as they are supporting the Ti 4600 they will be supporting the 4200 and 4400. Since they are changing the name of the NV30 (next generation nVidia card) I wonder if they will change the driver architecture...
