The Radeon 8500 is a gaming card with standard VGA and TV-out ports, while the AIW (All-In-Wonder) Radeon 8500DV is more for digital audio/video and has a lot more connectors, specifically these:
  • DVI-I (15 pin VGA adaptor included)
  • Stereo audio, S-video and composite video inputs and outputs
  • External stereo connection to sound card’s line input and output
  • Dolby digital stereo audio output (S/PDIF)
  • Two external IEEE 1394 FireWire ports
It also comes with a remote and TV-tuner capabilities. I have not heard of a DV-R version.
