Xp and ummm...XP

Hello,

I have a couple of questions regarding XP and compatibility. The first has anyone had much trouble with an nVidia MX 440 and XP.

The other question is I've been playing a game (Metal Fatigue) and after playing for awhile the game just turns off. It just stops and goes back to the desktop like I had just quit the game or something?

I've been nosing around on these issues and just wondered what you guys though.

Thanks a million,

Klutz

Have you installed the latest patch for that game?

The only problems that you might have with the MX 440 is if you buy a card from a cheapie card maker. Otherwise there are no problems known to me with NVIDIA, AMD, or VIA.

make sure the card is seated well.... and not overheating.... do you have adequate ventilation and/or fans?

could be a faulty power supply also...

good luck

make sure that all the drivers are installed, and the cards temps are ok. overheating can cause the card to act oddly.

Thanks for all your information, How exactly do you check the temps of the GPU or what ever?

Thanks for your help,

Klutz
