Playing full screen games in window
Hi all
Games like MOHAA and Never winter nights plays in full screen, is it possible to play these games so that i still have the windows task bar at the bottom of the screen, wndowed. If so how?? thnx |

It really depends on the game. SOme games support windowed mode some don't. There might be a wayto force some games in window mode, but I don't know how or what stability problems they would have while in that mode.
Actally I think if the game can run in 'software redering mode' as opposed to full acceleration mode (via the graphics card) then it should be able to run in a window (you would need to select software rendering in the game) |

You might be able to bring up the taskbar and the start menu in fullscreen by hitting Ctrl/Esc or the Window key.

yes, but that doesn't always put the game in window mode. The game will just appear in the taskbar then. then if you click the game in the task bar, it will just go full screen again. 9 out of ten times a game doesn't have the window option, and you can check it by right clicking while its in the task bar to see it can only be maximized.
