I just got this new machine yesterday - 512mb ram, athlon 2100+ XP and a MSI nVidea GeForce 4 Ti-4200, with 64mb memory. When I try and run games such as GTA 2 and Fifa 2001, they are jumpy/jerky to the extent that they are unplayable! I've got the latest drivers for the card. All the settings seem to be fine. Why is it not working?!I'd appreciate any suggestions you nice people can offer!

I'm running XP. The games load and stuff ok, they are just very jumpy and unplayble - like I'm running them on my old p2 200!!

try going into display properties, then settings, then hit advanced. on the bottom on general read the program on 256 color mode. that might help on older games.
