JKII Installation/Uninstallation Problems..

I get an error when tryin to Install JK2 the error says "An installation support file could not be installed. The Parameter is incorrect"

I have installed it be4 and then not played it for awhile then i wanted to get back to the origional version so i uninstalled and deleted the folder. Now when i try to install it i get this error! Plz help me! I know it aint the InstallShield since i installed Quake3 a couple of hours after to see if it was.

I have attach a pic of the error it aint that big so plz look its only a .gif.

Maybe the CD is damaged? Try trying another CD

The cd isnt damaged.

It isnt a copy, its proper version.

lately have you tried the cd in another system?

Yeah I would try that disc in another computer like grimfandango suggested also try it in your primary cdrom. Maybe try disabling anti virus although I was able to install with norton running.

Iam runnin WinXP, i havent tried it in another computer but maybe i will. I have no Anti-virus atm so u can rule that out hmmmmmmmm could one of take a screenshot of ur JKII cd contents, iam starin to think maybe a file on the cd has been damaged somehow or deleted (dunno how it would of been deleted).

Clean the disc off using a damp cloth and make sure there aren't any deep scratches on your disc. I doubt any files were deleted from your disc cd-roms are read only.

yea... I think the same tooo..

just try in another system/cdrom...!!
