PiNE PCI TNT2
Do these things need any sort of cooling, either active or passive, at all?
I'm about ready to take a hammer to this piece of junk, or just disconnect the little fan on it if possible. ![]() I highly doubt any pre-GeForce cards need cooling, but then again you never know... |

I had a TNT2M64 that ran fine with just a heatsink, and even when the heatsink fell off it still ran fine in games. So, I wouldn't worry about active cooling for it.

If the card's fan is too loud I'd just disconnect it. I doubt it needs to be cooled directly. A quiet case fan should do the trick. If it burns up; oh well time to upgrade!

tnt series card need not serious cooling solution......just a heat sink would do nicely.But I burnt my TnT2 series card after "OVER"clocking it.........
